EPL experts take part in drafting of environmental laws/regulations of national and local authorities, participating in different working groups on the development an improvement of the environmental legislation (for example, comments on Environmental Protection Act, on Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Expertiza laws, on legal regulation of pesticides use and utilization, on Regulation on Access to Environmental Information, on Regulation on Public Environmental Inspectors, on implementation of Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers in Ukraine, on Regulation on Public Participation in Environmental Decision-Making, etc.). On local level EPL took part in drafting of the local environmental action plan for Lviv, Regulation on the maintenance of domestic animals in Lviv, and commented and discussed the Regulation of the noise standards for Lviv and plan of the waste utilization in Lviv.
